Hi,
Firstly a BIG thankyou for visiting my website, I hope you have enjoyed viewing my work and will leave plenty of comments on the guestbook for me to nosey at.
As you have probably gathered from the website URL my name is Tracy.
I was born in Shipley West Yorkshire not a million miles from the famous artist David Hockney although my art style is somewhat different!.
I am now married and have two wonderful children, but choose to sign all my artwork in my maiden name.
I began pencil drawing at an early age going on to do commissions mainly children and pets for local people.
In 1998 i was introduced to pastels this was the first time i had produced anything in colour the Tiger being my first challenge took me about a year to complete as i am a bit of a perfectionist it had to be an exact copy i mean every miniscule detail!
I Have always had a love of African animals especially the big cats which i hope one day i will see in their natural habitat.
Having done a joint exhibition in 2002 at the Priestley Gallery in Bradford, i am now working towards doing my own in the near future and to that end if there are any gallery owners reading this please feel free to contact me !!
